A dihedral is hinged to a rotating aluminium surface, shedding its shadow on it. Through the projection of its own shadow, the dihedral shape appears as a complete cube. During rotation, a continuous dialectic between real image (of the dihedral) and virtual image (of its shape) takes place. The object and its virtual doppelgänger produce an ever-changing volumetric ensemble.
