ON THE HORIZON

Following our screen paintings, among which some were called Santa Fe, we decided to live on the territory of our paintings. Switching from the cathodic universe to the real world, questioning the systems of representation once again, we intend this time to reinvest the question of the landscape through sculptures: Nuages (Clouds) and new paintings·: Sunsets, Lignes de partage du ciel (The Dividing Line Of The Sky).

The Sunsets speak about colours and the Clouds about forms.

Today the sky is this new screen where come other fleeting and intangible motives, from light towards form, as yesterday in our screen paintings, from picture to light. Our point of view is here interstitiel, as it was before: between the map and the territory (American Series), between the map and the landscape (Mohave Valley).
