A platform hovers at head height, like a suspended ceiling in a passageway. Various used fluorescent lamps of different sizes and intensities are mounted in tight formation on the underside of the platform and controlled by computer. In the electrical light storms of this rhythmically generated on and off pattern, the light pulses, flickering seductively, sometimes threateningly, across the floor and wall.
