Artist Peter Erskine Transforms Architectural Spaces with Light

American artist Peter Erskine began to experiment with sunlight using preciselty cut prism installations in both modern and historical sites, in the late 1980s. His work of over 30 years incorporates creativity into skill while exploring the fall of light on different surfaces.  According to Erskine, he intends to magnify and use “the emotional impact of art to address the full range of nature from its most elemental expression as pure light to its most complex expression as global ecology.”
